This thing looks simple… but don’t be fooled. It’s extraordinarly Powerful!

A Controller is the heart of all You.InControl systems.

It requires:

  • No Programs or Programming
  • No Apps
  • No Internet
  • No Wi-Fi
  • No Cloud
  • No Accounts or Logins
  • And No Infrastructure!

It’s what you use to set the system up, add devices and configure the settings.

Using the two press buttons and rotary knob, you can fly through the indexes and settings to make the system do whatever you want.

Once it’s set it up, you can put the Controller in the cupboard to quietly automate the system in the background.

Here are a few notes on the Controller:

  • Allows you to pair up to 250 You.InControl devices. Those devices can control thousands of things.
  • Has on board communication diagnostic tools to ping devices and confirm transmission details. You can then increase or decrease power required for transmissions (if you could be bothered).
  • Allows you to change transmission waveforms for longer distance transmissions (if you need to).
  • Has a find function to find each device using sound and sight.
  • The Controller has the equivalent power of some $200,000 building automation cabinets – yet it’s the size of a deck of cards and costs less than $500!
  • Has a System Settings section that allows you to change the user interface, keys, time and more.
  • Has a Devices section that allows you to pair new devices in a few seconds and use them immediately.
  • Each connected device has a page that allows you to set up, rename and interact with it.
  • Allows up to 250 automations or scenes where you can do almost anything.

  • Low Power. Everything about the system and the Controller has been optimised for low power consumption. Typically, it uses 20 times less power than other systems. That’s good for you and for the environment.
  • Internal Battery. The Controller loves going for walks, a drive and a good explore. And, there’s no need for power whilst doing it. It has a rechargeable internal battery which will last a few days – depending on what you’re using it for. And, when the battery runs low, simply plug it in any MicroUSB to charge it up again. Or, leave it plugged in when you’re not using it. Try taking your wi-fi router for a walk!
